Lee Jones serves as the President of NorthStar Energy Solutions, where he oversees operations for seven divisions spanning multiple states. With extensive experience in the energy industry, Jones has held leadership roles at both Quanta Corporate and Quanta subsidiaries, managing operations and supporting teams across the country.

Before stepping into his current role, Jones served as Regional Vice President for the Southeast Region, where he played a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and growth.

Jones holds a Master of Science in Engineering Technology with a focus on Construction Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Banking and Finance from the University of Southern Mississippi. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute and holds multiple industry certifications.

Outside of work, Jones enjoys spending quality time with his wife and five children. Whether it’s traveling, outdoor activities, or simply sharing moments together, his focus on family reflects his values of connection and balance, which also guide his approach to leadership.

Sarah Honeycutt serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Northstar Energy Solutions, bringing extensive expertise in financial management and strategic planning. She holds a Master’s degree in Taxation from the University of Texas in Arlington and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Before joining Northstar Energy Solutions, Sarah gained valuable experience at a public accounting firm and spent 15 years with a large auto dealer in Arlington. She began her career there as a receptionist and worked her way up to the position of controller, demonstrating her dedication and leadership skills.

Sarah’s diverse background and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in driving financial growth and operational efficiency within our organization. Her strategic vision and financial acumen continue to ensure the financial health and sustainability of Northstar Energy Solutions.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys traveling with her husband Randy, family, and friends. She is a passionate sports fan, especially of the Rangers, Cowboys, and Longhorns. Sarah also enjoys playing mahjong with friends. 

Stephen Brown serves as Vice President of Substation & Foundation at NorthStar Energy Solutions, where he provides strategic leadership and operational expertise. With over 30 years of experience in heavy construction, industrial, and civil projects, he has a proven track record of delivering excellence and driving growth.

Since joining Canfer/NorthStar in 2008, Stephen has advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, rising from Field Supervisor to Operations Manager, and now to Vice President. His ability to lead diverse teams, streamline operations, and foster a culture of safety and efficiency has been instrumental in the company’s success.

A Louisiana native, Stephen graduated from Caddo Magnet High School in Shreveport in 1989 and earned a B.S. from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston in 1994. His educational foundation, combined with decades of hands-on experience, equips him to tackle complex challenges in the industry.

When he’s not overseeing operations, Stephen enjoys spending time on the lake with his wife and kids. An avid boater, he takes every opportunity to relax and recharge with family on the water.

Matt Watson brings decades of operational expertise and strategic leadership to his role as Vice President of Transmission and Distribution Operations at NorthStar Energy Solutions. With a career that spans the full spectrum of the electric industry, Matt’s approach to leadership is grounded in a lifetime of hands-on experience and a passion for empowering the next generation of electrical workers and leaders.

A Texas Panhandle native, Matt graduated from Canyon High School in 1989 and is a proud second-generation electrical contractor. He got his start in the family business, working alongside his father in a commercial and residential electrical company. In 1990, Matt transitioned into the utility sector, beginning as a groundhand on a transmission crew serving a local investor-owned utility. By 1995, he had completed his apprenticeship and spent the next 23 years honing his technical skills, industry knowledge, and leadership abilities at Xcel Energy. During his tenure there, he held key leadership positions across transmission and distribution operations as well as corporate functions.

In 2013, Matt took his expertise to the contract side of the industry, serving as Vice President of Transmission Operations. He joined Quanta in 2015, where he continues to focus on building trusted relationships with customers and employees, fostering a culture of excellence, and developing top-tier talent.

Outside of work, Matt treasures time with his wife, Linda, their three children, and two grandchildren. Whether spoiling the grandkids or enjoying the great outdoors, family is at the heart of Matt’s life. He’s also an avid hunter and loves shooting sporting clays with friends and coworkers whenever he gets the chance.

Brice Burns leads the Energized Transmission Operations at NorthStar, providing strategic oversight for a specialized team serving major clients across the South Region. With more than 13 years of experience in the Electric Power Delivery industry, Brice’s career began as a groundman and evolved through numerous leadership roles, culminating as Transmission Operations Manager. In this role, he oversaw the construction of hundreds of miles of transmission lines for key utility partners, including Oncor, Texas-New Mexico Power, and Florida Power & Light. Brice also played a pivotal role in the successful execution of multiple Barehand Transmission projects throughout the Southeastern U.S., offering technical expertise and innovative solutions.

In 2022, Brice joined Quanta through Irby Construction and was soon entrusted with establishing NorthStar’s new Energized Services Division. Under his guidance, the division has achieved rapid growth and continues to deliver high-quality services across Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.

Brice holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he served eight years as a scout sniper, including deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Outside of work, Brice enjoys fishing, playing guitar, and—above all—spending time with his wife and their four children.

Chris Tucker leads the Substation Division, guiding overall operations and supporting the teams who bring each project to life. His focus is on keeping work moving efficiently, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring every job is done safely.

Chris has spent nearly 19 years in the electrical and substation industry, backed by a lifetime in construction. He holds seven welding certifications and has built his career by doing whatever the work required. From his early days in the field to serving as General Manager and now Director, leadership has always been at the center of his career.

Throughout his journey, he has worked on and managed several major, high‑profile projects. However, what Chris counts as his biggest accomplishment is seeing the people he’s mentored grow into superintendents and leaders themselves.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys traveling with his wife, spending time with his kids and grandkids, and getting outdoors for shooting sports and hunting.

Greg Yates brings 40 years of extensive experience in the telecommunications sector to his role as Vice President of Telecommunications at NorthStar Energy Solutions. Known for his strategic leadership and commitment to operational excellence, Greg guides the division through every phase of the business cycle with a focus on delivering exceptional results.

Greg began his career with Southwestern Bell Telephone, where he cultivated a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry and honed his leadership skills. Over the years, he has developed a business philosophy rooted in cross-functional collaboration, streamlined processes, and a relentless dedication to safety and success.

Since joining NorthStar’s newly established Telecommunications Division, Greg has been instrumental in driving its rapid growth and establishing a strong regional presence.

A Dallas native, Greg enjoys spending his free time competitive bass fishing, restoring his classic Chevy truck, and exploring the RV lifestyle with his better half, Stephanie. He is also a proud father to Lauren and Michael and a devoted grandfather to Emma.

David Foy serves as the Director of Fleet Management for NorthStar Energy Solutions, bringing with him decades of hands-on experience, technical expertise, and a passion for operational excellence. A Georgia native, David’s curiosity and passion for exploration laid the foundation for a career defined by resilience, adaptability, and a spirit of adventure.

A pivotal influence in David’s life was his father, who instilled in him not only a deep appreciation for his heritage but also an unwavering work ethic. These values became guiding principles throughout David’s professional and personal life.

David began his career at Darr Equipment Co. (now known as Holt), gaining extensive experience as an Undercarriage Technician, Welder, and Field Service Specialist. His time in these roles was marked by a dedication to precision and a willingness to tackle complex technical challenges. The position also provided opportunities for international travel, allowing David to immerse himself in diverse cultures, collaborate with global teams, and gain a broader perspective on his craft.

In his current role as Director of Fleet Management, David oversees fleet operations, maintenance strategies, and resource optimization at NorthStar Energy Solutions. His leadership style emphasizes efficiency, safety, and long-term sustainability, ensuring the company’s fleet operates at peak performance while aligning with NorthStar’s commitment to excellence.

Outside of work, David enjoys long-range shooting, BBQ, and traveling. These hobbies reflect his love for precision, creativity, and exploration, serving as both a personal outlet and a way to stay connected with friends and family.

David’s journey is a testament to resilience, adaptability, and a steadfast commitment to excellence. Whether leading his team through operational challenges, mentoring colleagues, or exploring new horizons, David approaches every experience with curiosity, gratitude, and a drive to make a meaningful impact.

Frank Ingram III brings nearly 20 years of experience in the Electric Utility industry to his role as Director of Business Operations at NorthStar Energy Solutions. He began his career in 2006 with North Houston Pole Line, supporting environmental compliance efforts on transmission projects while still in school. In 2007, he joined full-time as a groundman and soon after earned his CDL, taking on equipment logistics and gaining a strong foundation in field operations.

After graduating from Texas A&M in 2012, Frank transitioned into project management and joined NorthStar in 2013. Over the years, he advanced through several roles—Estimator, Project Manager, and Senior Project Manager—before stepping into his current leadership position in 2024. Today, he oversees business operations focusing on execution, financial performance, and long-term strategy. He also plays a key role in contract negotiations, pricing, and team development.

As a third-generation professional in the industry and a long-standing member of the Quanta Services family, he brings a deep sense of pride and perspective to his work.
Outside of work, Frank enjoys spending time with his wife and their son. Whether it’s a weekend project, a ballgame, or just being home, family is where he finds his balance.

Stacy has been part of the NorthStar Energy Solutions team since 2011, helping build the backbone of our Accounting and HR operations. She started her career in accounting at an auto dealership in Arlington, Texas, working her way up to management before making the move to the energy industry.

At NorthStar, Stacy is an integral part of building a strong accounting team and creating HR programs that truly support our people. She focuses on employee engagement, compliance, and strategies that help team members grow and succeed.

A lifelong Arlington resident, Stacy is all about family and community. She’s been married to her husband, Duane, since 1997, and together they’ve raised three kids and now enjoy time with their grandson. When she’s not at work, you’ll find Stacy cheering on women’s college softball, supporting her husband’s drag racing hobby, spending time with family, and doting on her beloved cats
