Watermill – Tri Corner – Wilmer 345kV Project

NorthStar mobilized quickly to assume six critical transmission projects for Oncor, overcoming early challenges and aligning resources to meet an accelerated schedule. By leveraging support from multiple Quanta operating units, the team executed a highly coordinated 12-day construction push, successfully completing major 345 kV work. This effort highlights NorthStar’s ability to scale, collaborate, and deliver safely under demanding timelines, reinforcing its position as a trusted transmission partner for Oncor.

Project Scope:

• 345 kV and 138 kV transmission work
• 9.2 circuit miles of bundled 1926 conductor (~300,000 ft) installed
• 6 miles of 48-count OPGW installed
• 72 dead-end cut-ins completed
• 54 tangent structures clipped-in
• 60 sets of jumpers installed
• 10 miles of conductor space
